This is a painting I did for my friend, Rhonda. She wanted a large picture for her living room. We flipped thru a book of tulip pictures so she could get an idea of what she liked colour-wise and composition, then I took the basic idea and ran with my interpretation of it. It's acrylic done on a 3x5 foot sheet of masonite with a black gallery style frame. Originally the background was green, and...she hates green (who knew?). The next day it became red. She hasn't used it for firewood yet, so I thinks she likes it.
